as I see it ---- tom sullivan

This book is written by a man who lost his sight shortly after birth.  It is filled with many interesting and insightful quotes.  "I've never met a person who was ugly unless they wanted to be.  I've never seen my wife's face, but I've listened to the sound of her smile.  I've never looked at a rainbow.  Color is just a word."  There are lots of lines in the book that really make me think.  For example, "It's so easy to look down on someone because of their labels, rather than look up to someone because of their qualities."  He talks a lot about how his other senses are heightened and how he navigates through the world using them.
